Pueblaaaaaaaeerk!!!
Hi guys,
We´re in Puebla now. After a 5 hour bus trip we reached the "beautiful" city of Puebla yesterday at 3 p.m. The bus merely dropped us on the motorway. Hadda walk a bit and get a combi (some kind of small bus). I heard an awful lot of good things about Puebla, so I´m sure you did too. The thing is that we might not have found the pretty part of the city. It´s a big city, with cars, ugly buildings although the Zocalo (main plaza) is nice, with shops everywhere. It looks more like a giant market with roads and a few nice monuments, but too big for me. Not much to see or do except shopping and eating. I´m being negative there, but that´s problably because it´s the end of the trip and I feel a bit down. Maybe I should give Puebla another chance, some day. Our hotel is good, though. There´s a telly.

Today we bought our tickets to Taxco. Another 5 hour bus trip starting at 8 a.m...We also visited the "Cerro Loreto", a mount close where you´re supposed to be able to relax and enjoy a bit of nature. Well, I have to say that there are a few trees on the hill...There´s also an IMAX (huge theater) on the Cerro Loreto, so I thought that we could enjoy a film and forget about the noise, pollution and garbage. No luck, the IMAX was closed. The bright side of this walk was that we found a bullfight arena. Finally a typical place. Can´t wait to go to that great restaurant we found, now. The best Mexican food I´ve had so far.
I´ll see you in Taxco!
