Hi everyone,
As you might have already noticed, we´ve added a few pics to our previous articles "Shark and Crocodiles" and "Crocodile Dundee". You´ll be able to admire the size of "Jaws" and try to find the crocodile on the picture (a bit like "Where´s Wally? or "Where´s Waldo?").
Well, not so much to say about the last two days. We´ve done pretty much nothing but the usual: sunbathe, swim and eat. However, today we had a strange encounter with the Pelican type. One of those dangerous sky-diving crazy feathered animals tried to eat a fish that was already being caught by one of the kids fishing on the beach. The pelican got the fish but his throat was transfixed and the hook was still caught in one wing. Poor thing. One guy and a woman passing by helped me holding the pelican and having failed in taking off the hook from his throat, we decided to cut the flesh (only a little tiny bit I assure you!) with my swiss army knife to free the pelican. It flew away, apparantly not too badly hurt. I bet from now on it will think twice before stealing a fish from a mexican!
Today was our last day in Mazunte. We´re leaving tomorrow, snif! We´re going to Oaxaca for a couple of days. It´s already time to think of heading back towards Mexico city to catch our plane on Monday the 5th.
See you later!
