Mission impossible
Hi ! Me again. I completely forgot yesterday was Friday the 13th and I did not buy any Lotery ticket. If any of you won something, please let me know, I might need some cash after this trip :)
We left Posadas yesterday in the evening and took a bus to San Ignacio. This place is located in the Missiones area. As you´ve already guessed there are a few Jesuit Missions around and San Ignacio Mini 
is said to be one of the finest. The "pueblo" is very small. There´s a church, a few shops, three hostels and the ruins of the Mission and its sculptures in "guarani baroque" style. The locals seem very poor and many children beg for money and food. It feels strange to see all the tourist buses on the one hand and such a poor population on the other hand surviving with the little money they can make selling handmade craft. We visited the ruins early this morning when it´s still fresh and the mosquitoes are going to bed for the day. It´s quite impressive and you can imagine how was life in there in 1733 with the Italian Jesuits. I know myself as I studied in St François Xavier High School in Vannes which was a Jesuit High School (although it must have been slightly different in the 90´s :) Then we took a bus for a 5 hour-ride to Iguazu.
I am writing these lines from Iguazu where we are spending the night. Tomorrow, we´ll go to the Iguazu falls for the day. This was one of the main places of interest we wanted to see in South America, so it´s gonna be a big day. We´ll show you the pictures...
