Taxco
Hi ye,
We got safe to Taxco. We even got there one hour ahead of schedule in a semi-private coach shared with only two other passengers. ´Hotel Rwanda´ was on.
Taxco is a really nice city with cobbled stone streets and narrow up-hill streets. We got lost many times. It is mainly known for its now closed silver mines. Silver shops are in every single corner of each street. You can buy silver by the kilo. So we spent yesterday´s afternoon going through the charming streets of Taxco and enjoyed getting lost.
Today we were to visit some caves some miles away from here. But David´s tummy was on strike again so he had a rough night trying to find some peace. He eventually fell asleep at 7am so we stayed in the hostel all morning right through mid-afternoon when it was finally my turn to run to the loo.
Tomorrow should be a brighter day healthwise. We will have a restful night and catch a bus to Mexico D.F. Bye for now!
