Lima, Peru
Hi everyone,
Today is our last day in South America and we only have one month left before reality hits us.... So let´s dream for one more month.
Yesterday we went downtown to the Plaza de Armas, took a few pics, grabbed some food and refused to buy any drug from all the guys on the street. We ended up in the cinema, too tired to consider visiting any place of interest. Watched the last Ben Stiller. Felt at home for an hour or so. Then we took a bus back to the surburbian part of Lima: Miraflores. Guess where we went for dinner? McDonald, yeahhhhh! Even had a Chocolate Sundae. That was a good day.
Our hostel is only a few blocks away from the sea so this morning we decided to check the Pacific Ocean out. But the weather has been miserable all day. So we went shopping instead in a huge mole. We thought we were in California for a minute. I was looking for Seth, Marissa, Ryan and the rest of them.... Just couldn´t find them. We even went to look for them in Pizza Hut where we had a lovely meal..... I know our diet is getting very healthy these days.... Then we walked up the beach front to the hottest part of Lima called Barranco. It gets very busy at night but in daytime, there is nothing at all.
We booked a taxi for 9pm to the airport and should leave Peru at 1:15am. Our ticket says we will be in Cancun at 10:10am. Meet you there.
